Zad Kokar, born in L’Isle-Adam, has lived and worked in Strasbourg since 2010. He divides his time between illustration, comics, and music. His graphic style is characterized by spontaneous, experimental writing.
Between 2010 and 2014, he was part of the Psoriasis collective. Since then, he has published several fanzines, graphzines, and comic books with Gargarismes, La Corde, Arbitraire, Sterput, and Papier Gâchette. At Petite Nature, he published the experimental comic strip Tozzy.
Together with Nygel Panasco, he shows some of his work in the exhibition: “A larger reality, crawling from up above” at the Neues Schauspiel studio.
