On their new album “Speisekammer des Weltendes”, Erregung Öffentlicher Erregung illuminate human existence in post-capitalism and repeatedly capture it in culinary metaphors. Between the songs, following question arises: How does enjoyment and leisure time evolve in the face of the impending apocalypse? This area of tension is also reflected musically; with songs that celebrate demolition and those that bemoan decay.
